wastegate is nearly dead

hi all been a while since ive been here so hello.

my wastegate is dead opens up on just 0.1 bar so not getting full boost just wondered if its worth buying a brand new noe or just getting a secondhand one?

Is the wastegate not actuated by a boost control solenoid?

hi its been tested and confirmed its the wastegate thats knackered ive tried another bcs as thats what i thought it was.

Id go for a brand new one unless the second hand was has been tested and certifed a1 condition

If your actuator is broken you usually suffer from over boosting. Are you sure you haven't just tried a duff BCS. Have you set the wastegate actuator opening pressure correctly?
