I just reset the service light on the T5 (not long serviced by RT) with the A7 socket and did the hold the button down briefly and got 1-1-3 come up? Is that to do with the trip computer?

Hi,code 113 on the A7 socket is "fuel level sensor open circuit".This is from a proper dealer pocket data book. The A7 socket is the combined instrument panel.

Ahh that is why the computer only says 67 litres now instead of 70 litres when its full.....(i.e. 670 kms to empty when reseting the computer instead of 700kms) sounds like the sender is on the way out or there is a problem elsewhere in the tank......

Check you don't have a dent in the tank from running over something. It may be causing the problems.

I never thought of that, although the computer used to report 700km to tank empty when I used to fill up , then it went to 690kms , possibly 680, now it does 670kms.... unless I have a lot of crap on the float or whatever......so I dont think it has a dent..... or it would have gone straight to 670 from 700......
