The bottom mate, on the subframe. You will have to get it high enough though.

Hey mate.

It's less work dropping it through the bottom but unless you have the use of a 2 poster ramp or a means of getting the front end very high it's a real pain in the rear.

I have done it a while back ( on that red saloon ) out through the top... It aint to bad mate.
Mine was made more difficult because I diddnt want to disconect any of the aircon! LOL

Got it done though... eventually

Took min out through the bottom on the subframe too. Only tricky bit was getting it back in again as it's too unstable to lift on a jack. I lifted through the engine bay with a A-frame (strengthened swing frame !) and block and tackle. The benifit with taking it out on the subframe is that you can also replace the subframe bushes, do any work on the steering and assemble everything as one unit then there's only wiring connections and a few water pipes to reattach once it's back in.

Well, provided my clutch turns up I'm doing mine on Saturday. Gearboxoff, replace RMS, new clutch, and then throw it all back together.

Sidney did you use the superflex bushes for the ARB? If so were they easyenough to get on the ARB as I have some on the way from PFS and am going to fit them.
