Well according to the brouchures they are as follows..

850 T-5R manual 0-62 mph 6.9 seconds.

850 R manual 0-62 mph 6.7 seconds.

None of the brochures I have state whether that is for a saloon or estate but it is for manual transmission, auto not quoted in the brochures for the R variants of the 850

850 T5 Saloon manual 0-62 mph 7.4 seconds

850 T5 Estate manual 0-62 mph 7.5 seconds.

Again no times for the auto variant.

S70 T5 manual 0-62 mph 7.0 seconds.

S70 T5 automatic 0-62 mph 7.3 seconds.

S70 R automatic 0-62 mph 7.3 seconds.

S70 R manual 0-62 mph 6.7 seconds.

V70 T5 manual 0-62 mph 7.1 seconds.

V70 T5 automatic 0-62 mph 7.4 seconds.

V70 R manual 0-62 mph 6.7 seconds.

V70 R automatic 0-62 mph 7.3 seconds.

V70 R awd manual 0-62 mph 7.3 seconds.

V70 R awd automatic 0-62 mph 8.1 seconds.

All above are for phase one V70 cars.
From that data I would say that its safe to deduce that the 850 R model auto's probably have a 0-62 mph time of 7.3 seconds like the T5 and R model S70's being as they are both 240 bhp.

As far as modded cars go, Wobbly managed a 5.98 in a C70 manual with 19T Rica map etc etc etc.......which is nice :)

A lot depends on many many variables, auto car tested the 855 T5 at 7 seconds to 60 and some other road tests showed the phase 1 V70 T5 manual to do 60 in 6.9 seconds but the auto in 9 seconds! It really depends on so many variables but a good T5 with a good driver cool dry condtions and vpower should break low 7s or less, with a map low 6s should be possible maybe even mid to high 5s as proved by Daves car with The Spesh driving!!

Take one 850 T5 estate
Rip everything out
Chop the dashboard in half
Remove all the ventilation system
Uprate the throttle body and fit and MBC
then it'll be around 6secs (well 6.2secs to be precise if you're driving my car)

I've been here... I've just been very quiet...and current finances (not current credit crisis related) have stopped play.... I've got a twin engined drive, but a non-engined 850. It's been that way for over a year....

saying as we are on the subject anyone have a 0-100 time for a T5

I have spent some time on a boring motorway doing
50-70 in 3rd 4th and 5th
60-80, 70-90, 80-100 and 90-110 times with my lad on the stop watch.
Very niteresting! Due to age I cannot remember the times recorded.
I think it was about 3, 4, 5.5 an 7 seconds a- and a shed load of fun:>)

If I do it again I will get the lad to take a pen!! Myh short term memory is shot to bits.
LOL
