any1 using 205/45/16??

if so have u a pic,,,just put tyres on front of my car,,michellin pilots ther 50s but cant help thinking they look chunky,,,,,my car is lowerd but cant help wondering about 45s,,,,,dont want to buy fit n find there terrible looking,,,

Would have thought 45's would look a little small. You could perhaps go to 215/45/16 which would have a similar rolling radius to the 205/50/16's that are normally standard. I've just gone the other way and put 205/55/16's on my spare alloys to use as 'comfort' wheels !

I was toying with 215 45 16 but they would have been a bit much for the 6.5j rims me thinks. I'm just holding out now for some cheap Tethys , nebulas, volans, titans, pegasus or other volvo wheels other than my columbas, lol.

thinking theyd look small myself,,,im in ireland also so the chances of wheels coming up over here is small,,,,,55 rub on mine as i lowerd it with t5r springs,,,

55's rub on yours !!!. I've got H&R springs on mine and nowt rubs. Where abouts do they touch ?

I've got a set of what I think is 225 with Slicks on my standard rims... they rub.....:crazy:

I doubt anyone would notice much difference from 50 to 45....

not sure,,,rubbed on full lock looked awful,,,,got offred full set cheap just tryd front on also rubbed on speed ramp,,,bought these as at 80 quid couldnt say no ,,,,now on mates passat,,,,
