I am having problems getting hold of a hayned manual off ebay and even halfords in my area a manual for my 2000 Volvo c70 2.0 LPT and i would like to change the fuel filter, possible for anyone to post a link where i can find the instructions of carrying out this repair please? Thanks again

That's because they don't exist. You need one for a P2 V70. The Haynes manuals for C70's deal with the 4.4. engines, not the ME7's.
The fuel filter is located in front of the drivers side rear wheel, and is unlikely to have ever been changed even if your car has full service history as Volvo miss them.
There is a valve next to the fuel filter which you can open, this will de-pressurise the system, but not everyone does this as the valve's can stick open. Make sure you have something under the car to capture any fuel spillage. The fuel filter is held in place with a bracket (10 or 12mm bolt I think). A 17mm spanner will enable you to slide back the covers over the snap fit couplings on the filter itself. Pull off the pipes, then reattach to the new filter.
