Hello, any UK members or European fancy a trip / meet to the Nurburgring (www.nurburgring.org.uk) in September. There are around 40 of us going in 20 cars so far ranging from Ford RS, Imprezas, Type R's, Skyline etc...

We are are a friendly bunch basically going for a drive, track weekend at the ring, and a booze up. We are sailing from Hull on P & 0 North Sea Ferrys to Rotterdams Europort, driving to Cologne for 2 nights, then 1 night in Amsterdam before returning back to the UK.

The dates are as follows :-

September 9th - sail from Hull at 9pm.
September 10th - Arrive Rotterdam at 8am, drive to Cologne. Option to go to Ring after lunch or free day in Cologne etc, booze up Saturday night.
September 11th - Full track day at the Nurburgring, or sightsee, do as you please etc..., booze up Sunday night lol.
September 12th - Half day at the Ring or free day, drive up to Amsterdam, spend day & night in Amsterdam, see the sights n smells.
September 13th - Half day in Amsterdam before driving to Rotterdam for the 9pm sailing to Hull.
September 14th - Arrive in Hull at 8am, go home and recover.

We use Ibis hotel in Cologne as it has underground secure carparking, the rooms are approx £27 a night each, the ferry cost is £100 inc. cabin based on 2 per car, 4 per cabin, 2 berths are available but i think it costs more.

If any one in the South UK wishes to go they can make Tunell arangements and meet up with us en route, or if anyone wants to do part weekend etc feel free to join us.

Any queries or for further details PM me, no probs, but the ferry does get full months ahead, and we have booked our places, so if you are interested act fast.

TangoDelta, I may just be up for that depends on the moolah situation and if the wife and baby allow me!:troutslap

By the way, for anyone going from the South and plan using Dover, try 'Speed Ferries' they are extremely cheap and use the speedcat taking about 45 minutes to cross from Doverhttp://www.volvot5.co.uk/forums/images/icons/icon2.gifBoulogne. I payed £50 for a return and they throw in a free return crossing to boot. Just watch out for the green renault plod sitting in the bushes at the side of the N42 fiddlin with his gat.
