Glove box rattles

In my V40 and my dads S60R the glove compartment rattles and its really annoying it seems to be the catches that rattle, does anyone else have this problem and how could I sort it?

Not sure of how to cure it but I had a 2005 S40 and it was really bad, thought it coming from the vents at first.

Overfill it with gloves then force it closed! lol.. if it's the door making the noise put some self adhesive draught excluder around it. this should take up any play when closed in the door and stop the rattle! if it's the lock then, take it off and pack it with vaseline (ohh Matron!) or grease, if it comes apart? not shure if it does but this would stop it making any noise!

Mine used to rattle when I got it (V70 Phase 2) but I sorted it with two pieces of high density stick-on foam at each edge where the door closes onto the left and right sides. Silent now...
