I suspect something like tightening wastegate a bit and drilling air box or something similar. The other thing it could be is a resistor - seen them before..
£4.95 let's you find out :)

I reckon its a resistor (I may be wrong).
Before my T5, I had one of the 2litre 20v models. The ad that 'sucked me in' stated pretty much the same as this one does.
To cut a long story short, I paid just over £10 for a 'resistor' (that would have cost pennies at Maplin) which didn't work. The resistor is placed in the end of the MAF sensor plug, supposedly tricking the engine management somewhat. Instead I had a constant lambda light and missfiring on idle - in fact the car wouldn't go anywhere!!
Since purchasing this 'mod', I have woken up and had my cornflakes - so to speak....

:wtf: , yeah, 25 bhp mod, all instructions included, but I dont tell you what it is until you buy it lol.
I think this sums it up :pants:
and Mark, dont you dare put that on your car :slap: , you've only just got it all running sweet again lol.
Seriously, these things are all a con, absolute nonsense. I'll put money on it being a resistor for the MAF or water temp sensor to tricjk the car into putting more fuel in, which doesnt work anyway.
