It's nearly that time again, is there anything apart from the normal. I.E ,lights, wipers, tyres etc that i should be looking for.

I put mine in for an MOT recently and it failed on..

Brakes, including handbrake,

Drop links,

Lower balljoints,

Also got two advisories on an oil leak and the front brakes being out of balance.

There's loads that they can fail on, you'll know yourself if something isn't right or doesn't feel like it should. Just take it in before the MOT expires, that way you have a little time to sort the jobs out.

Definately would check bottom balljoints, track control arm inner bushes, track rod ends, C/V boots and also that the rear hanger for the exhaust hasn't rotted off !

Put mine in 3 weeks ago. Passed NP. But I stuck it up on the ramp the night before and had to sort a couple of minor things that would have failed it. I advise doing the same.
