ive got a 97. p reg 850 t5. it was at my local garage and they said that the head on my car was made 4 a limited number of cars. because of emisions, sorry about spelling .it has a small intake/outlet hole located on the top right hand side, under the plastic cover with 20v wrote on. is this true as they said it it worth more than the car possably £1000 will try find out part code. also it looks like this, three small bolt holes with a large hole about 1cm wide in the center

There were a limited number of those engines built, there are theories as to why but I personally don't know the exact reason, emmissions may be correct.

So no, they are no spinning you a line :(

Strange one this, as we only list one cylinder head for turbocharged 5 cylinder cars from 850 1994> V/S/C70 >1998 (and then they brought in the VVT heads).

Hi,i believe these were made for the canadian market and the emissions were the reason. They did a similar thing with the normally aspirated 2.5 engine(pre me7),this also had a recircualtion valve mounted at the back of the head and a take off from the side of the exhaust manifold.
