That looks awsome. Really professional job mate. Thank you sooo much. Can't wait to get it on the car, especailly as people keep coming up to me at work saying 'someone's nicked your grille!' or my favorite 'Nice set of Horns'!

How do you thank someone on this site?

Looks fantastic!

I once tried to do my 850 grill like that, ended up painting the whole thing black as I cocked it right up! lol

Every few weeks I had to fill in the stone chips with a small brush and tin of Airfix model paint.

Out of interest just how did you do that?

I can't take the credit. Jonno12 did it for me. I tihnk he explains how to do it further up the thread, but he's your man. Really professional job. I was going to do it myself but would probably have mucked it up.

Looks great, fella. I thought about doing that to mine too but was worried about stone chips etc. so I opted for a mesh jobbie. Need to do something with the slash though as it is just a bit wonky due to the chrome rim being wider than the OEM. It's been suggested a V/S40 slash is shorter and will work better. Any advice??

you could possibly trim it down top and bottom to make that one fit better

Thought about that but it would mean taking about 1/2" off either end, so if I wanted to refit the OEM grille for any reason then I would have to buy a new slash anyway. 6 n 2 3's I guess!

the only other thing to do is get one from a breakers take the slashes off and just use the square badge i think it would look good on that grill
