Air bag question!

My 2001 v40. I need to turn off the passenger air bag so I can safely put a child seat on the front seat so the wife can see the babby while she's driving. Anyone know how to do this?

I know very little about the 40 estates tbh but im sure that i remember discussing this very issue a while back an the outcome was that these cars offerred the passenger bag as a free option but no facility for on/off control was offered....
