yes FB Is right, these are fitted to new S40's and V50's

I dont think they would fit looking at that offset, its a fair bit bigger than the 850's. also i couldnt even tell you if the PCD is the same (850s had PCD 5x108 i believe but cant find listing for V50 just yet), I have a feeling it would be different to be honest

Hi we have tried to fit these to an 850 we had in the yard and although the stud pattern seems to match up fine the wheel centre hole is very slightly smaller than the hub centre.It would be possible to machine the wheel out being as it is such a small difference but we have not done this ourselves.It would of course have to be spot on accurate with the drill work and even then the offset is still a question mark.

Someone with a large lathe can carry out the machining work for you if they are the wheels that you are after. It wouldn't take very long either. My lathe isn't big enough otherwise I would offer to help.

For the Volvo 850s, I think you may need 45-series tyres with those 17inch rims to prevent the front tyres rubbing the inner wheel arches during turns. 850s running 16inch rims with 55-series tyres (instead of standard 50-series) are well known for rubbing.
