after some thinking and posting before the site went down i've ogt my boost gauge in the car, and although its only a cheap one i'm quite happy with it, it doesn't look too out of place,
might get a black face one when i have the dosh though:

would go with black m8, and move to A pillar as it looks like one of them stick on thermometers you get out of a cheap car accessory shop that sticks on anywhere alongside the compass! only my opinion mind!!!!!!!!!

i think it looks ok.. although ifi had a 850 i would probably sacrifice one of the side vents and mount it in there... :)

thanks for the honest replies guys, but i actually decided against the pillar mount as this way its easier to remove to go back to standard when i sell the car, leaving no trace of holes.

True but he's got far less chance of sticking his car through a hedge whilst looking at the gauge though

i don't look at them when i'm hurtling towards a hedge so no problem there.. you probably have more chance of them being distracting in your line of sight than you do if you are glancing at them.. :troutslap

are you ment to look forward when driving then!!

I knew there was a reason i kept going through so many cars lol!

actually i thought cos the dash and info etc are there already, must be a good place to put it, i found when i had the pilla rmount in the scooby it was a little too far away and i had trouble seeing the gauge in my periphal vision.
