Took my 850 T5 on a rolling road the other day.

Ran 211 @ crank. only modification is a JR panel filter.

Only got this low figure as is running 0.6 which the garage said is actuator pressure ???? So they think i must have a boost leak !!!!!!

My question is what would be the best place to start looking for said leak or do you have any other ideas what might be the cause of the problem.

Thanks

There are many potential places for a boost leak on a std 850 t5.

Try these for starters;

rubber elbow on the offside of the inlet manifold (very hard to get at/inspect)
3x rubber hoses to and from the BCS (mounted on the side of the airbox)
2x Intercooler hoses (although if there is a problem here I'd expect lower than 0.6bar boost)
1x Silicone hose on the output of the turbocharger
All of the PCV system

After that lot you're into a few other (more tricky) areas;
Inlet manifold gasket
Turbocharger wastegate leaking
BCS stuck or lazy

i would have thought 211 crank bhp was quite healthy for a standard T5 ?

i think 211 is a good figure, but i'd like to sort the problem out before i started tweaking stuff to up the power.

A ceap way is to put washing up liquid in a spray bottle with water (quite diluted) and spray onto all joints/hoses/pipes and look for bubbles. Where the bubbles are the leak is!
You will need someone to rev the engine as you look for the leak. Do you have a boost guage? seems your figure is okay. hope this helps.

As you can see the boost pressure isn't great
