No I'm not wanting to nick some fuel. I've been making my own biodiesel and in a panic I thought I had put a duff batch in the car. I think its OK now, but would be nice to know in case it ever happened again.
I tried sticking a tube down the filler cap, but it just sucked air; there must be an anti-syphon device. I also noticed when filling up from a jerry can, that the fuel level seemed to slowly drop when nearly full (like it was being drawn into another chamber). And I managed to get 73ltrs into what's meant to be a 68ltr tank.
So, would be interesting to know what the physical tank configuration is in case I am over-filling,
And, how would I drain the tank if I needed to?
