just purchased a rica 304 ecu and need the following questions answered

1, wheres the ecu ?

2, what precautions do i need to take when fitting it ?

3, will it require any mods to the car ?

4, do i fit the original bcs system ?

5, what pressure in psi should it run at ?

thanks in advance

ECU's in a black plastic box on the left hand (when viewed from the front) inner wing. Theres a metal strap over it with a sheer bolt securing it, cut a slot in the top of the bolt head and undo it with a screwdriver.
If you've got a manual there is only one ecu inside, if auto there will be two, go for the one on the left (I think !). You can disconnect the battery if you like although I whip mine in and out without doing so but better safe then sorry. The standard RICA 304 is for a motor running standard everything so the factory BCS should be left connected and it should boost somewhere between 1.1-1.2 bar (IIRC).

Hiya,

yes I believe that should be fine with the ECU. I'm running a Jetex cat-back and Simota induction kit on an auto 850R with RICA304 and all's well.

Cheers, Pete
