Righteo, as diesels work a bit different to petrol engines I thought i'd post to tell how I got a boost guage into my tractor.

Firstly I got it all wrong! I connected to each and every crancase ventilation pipe that is in existence under my bonnet only to get negative readings, (Thought I had a turbo that worked in reverse for a while)! Then after some cogitation and a chat with the guy at R-spec who sold me the guage I decided on the following course of butchery:D

1. Found a bolt in wheel valve and removed the valve core.
2. Drilled a sutable hole in the cold intercooler pipe
3. Bent a large washer to fit inside the pipe with the valve passing through.
4. made some rubber washers to fit between the valve and washer, and the washer and ic pipe.
5. cleaned all swarf out and fitted all together
6. connected the guage.
7. Got readings up to 27psi:D:D:D

Hope this helps someone.
I will add pics later.

heres a pic. you can see the brass bolt in valve quite clearly at the back of the engine bay, on the intercooler pipe.
