Electric window conversion

Dear all

I have a 1995 850 T5 with manual windows all round. To convert to electric would I just need a motor for each side and a console switch (assuming wiring is already present to connect all up)?

Hi Dave,never seen an 850 without electric windows in the front but the wiring is present in the doors and console so it would not be hard to do.If your car has no electric windows at all it may also require a relay to make them function,but again there will be a dock for the relay in place.We can supply the ingredients if needed.

Are you wanting to do fronts only or fronts and rears?
Just done rears in mine be aware you will need new door cards too, otherwise you will have holes in them where the winders were.
Basically you need the switch pack for the centre console, the internal door looms, the mechnisms and the motors. Its a reasonably easy job to do though so don't be put off.
