Just come back from the states and was driving an S60 2.5T auto.
It had very good fuel consumption (not)19 to the amercan gallon on long journeys.
The good thing was it cost me £25.70 for a full tank of fuel and they are complaining.
But all thing's in comparison we are mayby not the worst for the cost of living,at least we get more than 2 weeks hol's in a year.:worthless

I can beat that.

Just come back from working in Qatar. They were complaining about the high cost of petrol compared to last year.

Anyone want to have a guess at what I was told they pay per litre over there???

13.7p/ltr?

I think Saudi is about that figure.. I think it costs about £20 to fill a range rover V8...

I was told that petrol had risen to the heady heights of 76p a GALLON!!

Or 17p a litre.

It was only 12p a litre last year.

Theres no fear of theft so people will leave the engines running while they walk around shops to keep the inside of their 4x4s cool!
