Now that the cold weather is here have noticed that my drivers side door mirror in my C70 is not heating up when i put on the rear de-mist, even if i rub the glass within seconds its misted up again ... a real pain on the long drive's from Glasgow to Aberdeen etc,

Is it just a case of taking out the mirror glass and replacing something there ?

Tricky, could be wiring or element on the mirror, check you are getting power to the mirror from the heater switch, if so then it will probably be the mirror itself,P.

Give the connection gromit an inspection / wiggle; the black wire jobber that goes into the door from the car body. Apparently it's common to die.

Make sure the Plug on the end of the mirror has not come off.. and that the element behind the glass is not US
