having some work done on car tomorrow plus oil change,last time the oil was done(5000mls ago) had engine flush aswell.do you think i should have another flush done or leave it untill next time? bit worried about flushing causing oil leaks:confused:

(motor has 104k on it)

No need to flush this time. I'd look to do them every other time or maybe every 3. I'd be very surprised if flushing caused a leak. Leaks will occur irrelevant of the number of flushes/changes

Use good oil, change it at the correct time and i dont think there's a need to flush.

Agree, regular oil changes say at 4000 intervals if you drive like a t5 can be driven with good oil you dont need to think about flushing !

Never liked the idea of flushing. On a badly maintained motor it can dislodge carbon deposits etc (which is what it's meant to do !) then move it round the engine where it can get stuck and block something far more important !
