ATF, more like WTF!
Where can I shoe horn an Auto Transmission Fluid cooler?
I have been told that in rad unit is not efficient enough for towing.
I have considered fitting a Kenlowe fan in front of the rad.

search is your friend...

I used to install them but the OEM is now cheap enough to put in yourself and my own (using Pirtek pipework - which is very expensive)

You will also benefit from flush changing your ATF too

Dave's kit is nice and I would have gone that route but the other option was too good to pass up, it does the job, see link and scroll, Wayne might even do you a deal. :)

That is why I have given up making mine - they are just not as viable as the OEM kits

Better overall quality though. You get what you pay for mate and takes your choice. :)

First of all sorry Wayne but I've just got to find out if your price is as good as it seems.

I got a Quote from Wayne at Marshalls Web for an ATF cooler for £168 plus vat and P+P.
Is this a good price?

Hell of a lot cheaper than replacing a cooked tranny imho

Exactly - my cooler was over 200 quid fitted. The pipes alone cost me over 100 quid . Mocal cooler was about 65 quid.

My reworked AT box on my 855R cost over a grand. I am not sure if the extra cooler will prelong or extent the life of the AW50-42-LE - however from what I have read the yanks reckon that excessive ATF heat is the major contributor to AT failure
