I think Adam has posted before not to go above 1.4bar on a standard T5 lump, please do a search and check the forum though.

Mine runs 1.4-1.45 bar with a k24 turbo has'nt gone bang yet and has been like that for a while,i have run that much in the midrange,but now it only runs upto that much above 5000rpm.With a 15g above 4000rpm i reckon it would take 1.5-1.6 bar ok, no point though as the turbo is useless at that boost and would just create massive heat!Its not all about boost,you are much better off running it at 1 bar and sorted the breathing out first like DP and exhaust etc.
