Does anybody know where i can get a set of valve guides for my 850 R after the belt went pop the other month.Ive only just had the heart to strip it today & see the carnage. The timing belt was replaced less than 20,000 ago(not even 2years) by a volvo dealer ,but it looks like when they tightened the bottom pully up they over did it as the head sheared off & let the bottom pully come off at quite a big speed.By the time i put the clutch in the damage was already done.13 bent valves,at least 5 broken guides, pully bolt still in crank(minus head),big marks on every piston etc etc.....i guess the moral of the story is to always get the belt changed irraspective of the history. Please put me outa my misery!! :worried: :cussing:

Hi, Simple, If the belt change was done by a VOLVO dealer you still have recourse,"QUOTE"The timing belt was replaced less than 20,000 ago , go to VOLVO show your proof and they will fix,P.
