Looks interesting, in a nightmare wiring sort of way. I like the rear camera, could take the squashed bug shots of the idiot 2" off your back bumper.

You get satnav, mp3s, dvds, divx, cds, OBD, tv, radio, xm, plus whatever else all in one unit.
One screen up front instead of multiple headunits.
Plus my system will come in at about £600.
A new dvd 6.5" screen headunit will cost you about £1500, TomTom or similar £200 so the savings are obvious

plus you can play games on it. I have a classic arcade emulator on here with 1500 old style arcade games all used with that xbox controller. I also have halo you can play on it.

boost, oil temp and oil pressure

Ah the vital 3 :)

Oil temp and pressure gauges, did you go for mechanical or electronic? As a VS member im guessing you went electronic ;) Fancy writing a decent how to for both?

looks great - slightly off topic - I REALLY like the look of the silver rimmed Tritons on your car - very tempting!

Do you guys know how good the Ebay touch screen USB LCD screens are ?

Thinking of getting one for my home media PC as the juke box interface.

Cheers

Chris

Make sure you get one with 800x600 native resolution minimum (they will be listed at all sorts of resolutions but 640x480 native screens interpolate up and are unreadable for text).

I would recommend
http://linitx.com/index.php?cPath=64 Tell them Baj from DC sent you ;))
Xenarcs are good but expensive, Lilliputs are ok - the most popular, unkown cheapies from ebay are just that. Some have bought them and fouund them good- Hitatchi screens etc, some have bought duds.

Once he has the 8.4" back in stock it is going in my dash :)

yeah, both oil gauges are electric, but only the boost gauge is actually hooked up, I should have the other two gauges hooked up soon.
