I took the dash out to change the bulbs. Nice easy job :cussing:

Got it all back together and now I have a flashing orange arrow.

!

What the hell does that mean?

Flashing arrow is usually related to the automatic gearbox. Flashing the arrow is the way it indicates a fault condition.

Can you get the fault codes out of your car?

Is the car Auto?? If so it means theres a problem with the Auto box....

Disconnect the battery for 5 mins, check for the light, if its not on you might have just disturbed something, if it is on then as far as I know its only Volvo or an independant with Volvo equipment that can read gearbox fault codes :(

Last week there were no lights on.
The day I give back the code reader to Neevo I get an ECU light (took it to volvo specialist but they couldnt get a reading on their reader), then today this.
All I did was change the bulb under the auto gear lever and the bulbs in the dash for LEDs. It hasnt even driven between light being off and light on.

I will try the battery thing in the morning

I should be getting that dongle back in the next day or so - seems as though the previous Jap owners of the Skyline have modded the OBD connector! Do you want to give it another go?

ECU light is still there but spurious gear light has gone after a refit of the dash. Horrah!
I guess it was something knocked. Phew
