Downforce

Hi guys, considering tracking down an R bootlid spoiler (saloon) for an S60. Only problem is the colour which needs to be polartic silver. I read somewhere that it produces 20% more downforce at high speeds. Going to the Nordschleife next month so could do with it!! Volvo quoted £460.00 for it, and then they'd have to get it resprayed. Sounds a bit messy to me!! Any ideas???

I don't think you will need it for the Nurburgring - as I doubt you will be anywhere near your, or the cars limit. The down force is pretty reasonable as is, as the S60 T5 with no spoiler is capable of 155 mph out of factory, and Volvo don't feel it is necessary.

I of course like the spoiler though, just trying to save you some ca$h :)

The adjustable wing sounds interesting, the mods aren't just for the 'ring as i'll hardly be using it on tracks, any info on it? Have you been on the before? We go every year and sometimes stop off at Spa on the way back, it's a great week off with the lads and lasses!!

No - they are the pads - don't know what discs he was running
