been looking at my autodata disc and it says that a 2.0 turbo engine no B5204T3 from 1999/2000 has 225bhp and the same car but with B5204T4 engine no has 163bhp from 1999/2004.any ideas if this right

Your C70 2.0T is definately 100% 163 bhp. It only came as a 163 bhp, at least in the UK anyway. As to the difference between the numbers, I can check but first I got to put on my Volvo anorak and bobble hat cos I don't remember off the top of my head!!! lol :)

As you would expect, Adam's right.

AFAIK, they did a 2.0T with 225bhp in Europe as some countries had tax breaks for cars with 2L or less. I think they even called it a T5 in some countries....

Sorry, no idea on engine numbers tho...
