Will roof bars for the new shape V70 fit 1998 V70

I've seen advertised a pair of new shape V70' roof bars that "fit directly into the standard roof anchor points, (note:gutter points that may already be used for roof rails), no roof rail type".

My 1998 V70 has 2 strips running the length of the car an anchor point at the top of each door frame.

Does anybody know if the bars would fit mine?

if you haven't already got rails i don't think they'll fit Tony

but rails for 850/v70p1 will be ok, the bars mount to these

the rails replace the gutter strip and screw to mounting points under the strip

The seller is saying that rails are not required and the cross bars fit where the rails would. Would they normally screw in through the threaded holes on the door frames, or do they screw down from the roof?
