I was inspired to get one from PFV-online, after seeing how nice they looked in Andrew's T5-R. Certainly the pod - once cut to shape fitted much better and looks nicer than the fake carbon effect on the old one.

They have two bulbs in them which means that the pointer is illuminated and the background is a nice blue colour.

Justin took this - we were going kinda fast so the pic is a bit shaky

where from ? (sorry to be rude) @ how much ? and was it easy fit ?
I keep getting tempted to fit one, but want it to look just right and be nice and easy to fit (do you need to calibrate ? )

You can find the BSR gauge and the mount online here:

There easy to fit, Dave850R wrote a guide which you can find in this thread:
http://www.volvot5.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1314&highlight=boost+gauge

I wired mine in tonight and took some pictures which I've sent to Dave to put in his FAQ.

Kind regards
Andrew.

Dont forget to get the pod from the discount section

http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/default.php?cPath=504

They are going cheap. Dead easy to fit.

You need to chop the ends out of these (I used a dremel)
Then I used a small black self tapper to secure it after wedging the end between the pillar and the dash.

If you need a hand fitting them then I can come round and do it for you?

Same here - If your closer to me I'm happy to help fit it. Folks have helped me in the past - so I'm happy to being helping others.

Oh and don't forget you'll need a good length 3m of silicon hose.

Andrew.

I am not certain about the calibration of the BSR yet which is why I intend to go see VT and use there £200 gauge to establish the trueness.
