Hmmm, only want to pay 'breakers yard' money (I am a tight a*se !). I also intend to butcher it for the good of style and humanity ! (I have a cunning plan which probably won't work :cuckoo: ) would you accept a tenner plus p&p ?

Lol, thats not breakers money, they are £40 from salvo mate, its worth more than a tenner sat in my garage ;)

Thanks Dave but unfortunatly it was the chrome surround that I needed intact more then anything, nice pidgeon upgrade though ! Justin, I'm talkin breakers yards that you have to walk knee high in the mud round and haggle with 'man in hut' to get your trophy ! (I recently got a set of front fogs, foglamp switch, relay, jumper box from the breakers I use for......13 QUID :eye-poppi ) I was just trying to save me wellies, cheers anyway.

Ok mate no worries, they are handy to have as spares, however if you find an outlet like that for me let me know ;)

NB - the chrome surround on mine is intact. The only break in it is on one of the vertical bits.

If you intend to do what I think you have in mind - I think you will come up short. The attachments for the uprights go very deep into the chrome lip. If you cut them off with the hope of fixing on a mesh then I think you will struggle?
I don't want to see you work unecessarily?

Don't worry. I'm hoping no mesh will be involved ! I may just make a lot of mess and nothing productive, but I'd rather do it to a 'spare' grille then risk a beating from mrs nb :hidesbehi
