manual gearbox oil

as above, what grade etc do i use on a 850 t5

The only oil Volvo specify is their own but it is £15 a litre and the quoted capacity is just over 2 litres. You may well find 2 litres is enough though. There have been several debates on the subject with some people saying synthetic engin oil is ok and other saying that something like a 75w90 sythetic transmission oil is better.

If your going for engine oil, i think it was 5w-30 fully synthetic was the one that was recommended.
