Hi all, I've noticed a lot of pressurisation of the PAS reservoir and a bit of a leak of PAS fluid from the filler neck, you can wipe it off and it'll be ok but then next check it has leaked a little more out.

Is this normal, has it been overfilled, or has the steering not been 'bled' (not sure if you have to do that on these systems, but I was always told that if you change PAS fluid you should lock-to-lock the steering a few times with the reservoir cap off to bleed any air out of the system).

I know PAS fluid is flammable so I'm a little bit concerned about this :)

Cheers!

Sounds like its been over-filled to me, should only be to the marks on the dip stick attached to the cap.

I just had this on my C70 and it was because i over filled it, on the dipstick there is a mark for when its cold and a mark for when its hot, i filled mine up to the hot level when it was cold .. oops ... so when the system got hot it sprayed all over my engine bay ... i waited until the next morning when the system was cold and took it back to the cold level and its been fine since.
