Is this a hard job? mine needs done has a leak would like to know before i goto volvo.

I was told yea sure its a pain in the arse job but for a week or 2 you will be ok as im going down london next weekend and need it either done before that or after.

Do i risk using it to travel all that way? just keeping an eye on fluids etc? its only a small leak but i am thinking a big price :(

What knind of Volvo is it ? I am doubting their estimate...the slave cylinder goes thru from the engine side to be held in place, the connecting rod to move the clutch arm goes through the hole and the cylinder is held in place by a circlip on the opposite side of the engine hole it goes thru...hardly 400 quids worth .... slave is about 80 and about and hours work

C70 clutch slave cylinder will be inside the gear box. its a hydraulic release bearing/slave cylinder in one. a big job yes, unfortunately
