Hi guys

I need to change the flexible brake hoses on my car as the originals are perished. I have a shiny new set of Goodridge hoses, but the first one I have tried to undo on the car (flexible to metal brakeline) won't shift. Even with a proper brake pipe spanner I have managed to round the nut on the fixed brake pipe. If this is going to be the norm on each wheel I am going to need to make up some replacement brake pipes; just wonder if anybody knows the correct diameter brake pipe for a 1995 850. 3/16" and 1/4" seem to be the popular two and the male fittings to go on them ...3/8" unf x 24 tpi? is what I guess

Does anybody know for sure, please?

Many thanks in advance

same happend to me rcently mate, i cut thru the pipes as close as poss to the damaged nut and then re flared the pipes.
you only loose a small amount of pipe , which is easily regained by altering the pipe run slightly.

hi if you apply heat to the nuts they normally come undone. be carefull though as somtimes the flexis will pop.
