Need new Turbo for S40 T4

Hello there

I have an S40 T4 1999. If my turbo is under pressure it leaks oil. Volvo have said this is a common issue on the T4's???
They have reccomended me a new replacement turbo. What do I do?

A reconditioned turbo?

Or can I upgrade the Turbo?
