V70 P1 Leci window metallic click.

Drivers door electric window has a metallic click when approximately 2/3rds of the way down, & on the way back up.
Any advice on cause/cure welcome, before I start stripping it down.

Mine did this. Upon investigation, one of the window support rims inside the door had broken free. Now when the window is down, it rattles when you open and shut the door. Not sure whether its a common problem or if its an easy fix, as the rim sits right inside the door itself and is not easy to get to.
(854 saloon). Its possible it could be something else though?!

Cheers Matt, will have to investigate, its drivin me nuts. If it looks like a common problem will do an 'how to' but dont know when i'll get round to it though, am off work at the moment, suffering severe pains in me back.
