I've got mine unhooked today, and was wondering what I should be looking for when deciding whether to keep the originals or replace.

perished cracked or split rubbers is the main ones
causing dry joints
for the price of them if you have them off replace them

hi mate i think but not sure, if you have a clunk or the rubber round each ball joint is split i would change if its ok and you dont have clunk then you could leave them but if u have them off might be worth changing them up to you mate

Just replace them, you'll only have to do them at a later date ;)

Replace them anyways as Fraz says.
They are the culprit for the annoying rattle you hear as you drive along uneven road surface.
