Special price for two Volvo ECU upgrades - £500 inc VAT!

How it works -

Bring two Volvos together for a RICA ECU upgrade on each one, and have both upgraded for a combined total of £500 inc VAT!

Normal price for two cars is £340 x 2 = £680. This is not a group buy though. To qualify for this offer, a pair of cars must be upgraded together.

You can for example bring two pairs of cars (4 cars in total) and this would qualify, ie there would be 2 bills - one for each pair. But if you bring 3 cars, then 2 car would form a pair that would qualify, but the third car would not.

So, bring a mate, and you get a great deal!

Rules -


Offer only applies to Volvo 850 and C/S/V70 Turbos pre ME7 (1997-1998).
Both cars must be paid for together on one bill - you can split the bill between yourselves later.
Offer applies only to ECU upgrades.

Hi Dave,

When you say pre-run, do you mean rolling road test before and after? If so then it's not included in the price and will cost an extra £60 + VAT. We can't do a "try for a few days before you buy" on this special offer I'm afraid. It's a great deal for a well proven product.

Yes, but you don't pay for the ECU upgrade again, only the dyno time.

Technically yes that would be ok. Just bear in mind that when you plug the ECU back in, it's at your own risk because we don't get to check the car over.

I always try to run the car on optimax, or super unleaded. But ocassionally if neither are avialable, I have used 95Ron. To be perfectly honest I can't say I notice a real difference. From what I understand you can use 95Ron on a 310 remap, but you won't get the absolute best out of it if you do (someone correct me if i'm woong). I woudln't hesitate in getting the 310 remap especially considering it's the same price!!

put the stock airbox back on and took off the mbg
one of the hoses from the bcs to the turbo was split god knows how it was still working anyway it totally sheared off luckily have some silicone hoses but dont think i have got it on right terrible flat spot now :(

oh and im missing a bit for the std air box the air feed pipe to the airbox where it joins to the back of the rads etc i have the pipe just not the bit that goes in the fan cowling area does anyone have one?????????????

well what a difference..i wouldnt say huge poerr gains but that still has to be tested too tired to test it properly
but what i can say is that the power is far more useable and comes n more progressivly

yes, money well spent getting the RICA upgrade done. Averaged 32mpg on the way home so well pleased. thanks to Adam and the gang at Chip Tuning, they are very thorough in their craft and discovered a pin hole in my silencer which is a little bigger now so need a new middle section of exhaust and possible cat as it looks like it's on it's last legs.

ok i take back my comments its bloody fast now
tried it out on a long stretch of (private) dual carriage way
the power just keeps coming and coming lets just say at 5.5k rpm i backed off and the speedo needle was at the end of the numbers and still rising
as for my earlier comment about doesnt seem to have much poer increase ...well i take it back whole heartedly its just so damn smoothnow it just doesnt seem fast but on roads i know driving them as i do every day corners are coming up far too quick :biggrin:

i think its the difference with the power coming on strong mid range and the RICA progressive and constant power build up ... whatever it is it works for me
