i must admit, volvo have a decent choice of rims in the larger sizes, therefore I like oem stuff on our cars. I'm not against aftermarket tho, taste dependent!

Gen Volvos definately, aftermarket are usually bit thinner in the section so they dont usually stand up to much thrashing especially on the roads that we have to use in the N West.

id love to say original volvo stuff, but they failed to release any nice 4-stud's for the s40. Apart from some nice 17's...but ive only seen them twice..?

Surely the difference, whichever way, would be neglible (unless you got some really shocking wheels!), but it seems the consensus would be no, worse with aftermarket wheels..

Handling wise, if you had a set of aftermarket wheels in the same size and with the same offset etc, then the only other thing that would affect handling would be the weight of each wheel.

I have been running some e-bay replica pegs for some 2 years now, had no probs thus far and trust them at all speeds and on any road :saythat:

How much can you pick up replica pegs for ?? I've seen proper ones for sale at £1175 I think this is quite expensive ??

standard size for original 17s is 205/45/17 - quite a lot of people run 215 width tho :)
