Hi guys
Just a quick question, i wanted to find out the choice of fuels available to run on a RICA. Is it just 98 or can i use 97 ?
I know i have had it for 6 months+ but i am having running issues and it seems to run better than it did since she had a gut of optimax ?

Hi Andy,
Basically the higher the RON (up to 98) the better it will run, the more power you will have, and the better the economy will be. If it consistently runs poorly on 98 RON, then there is a mechanical or ignition problem somewhere.
Hope this helps!
Adam.

P.S I am averaging 19/20 mpg, is this about right for a rica'd auto ?!?! (best ever econamy was 25-26 when i did 1800 miles of motorway driving in 1 week ?

That is very low for an auto with RICA, you should be able to get 25-30 mpg no problem. Probably an air leak somewhere.

My urban is 22 to 23. But the impressive thing is the motorway at 70 I can get it up to 35.4 record so far!
