There should be a small grub screw on the light switch, just turn it....

I'm pretty sure it tells you in the owners manual - I believe there are 3 settings - I turned mine off as soon as I got the car. When you turn the screw you'll feel it stop at intervals.

Why turn it off? It was designed for a purpose. Other road users can see you coming.
Extra support with insurance claims " I had my dayglow lights on...."

i'm runnin a 51-plate s60 with no daytime lights, got it second hand and when i got it there were no daytime lights. couple of weeks later i found that it was because there were no fuses in the sockets for the daytime lights.

Were'nt they meant for the Swedish market ! (think its the law over there to have lights on all the time?....I might be wrong!)
So just easier to put a little switch in as well, so other countrys can turn them off or on or off or what ever takes your fancy....!!lol :troutslap

I'm led to believe that on phase 2 V70's, the dealer can set the lights to your own preferences. Is this true or is it just a case of pulling a fuse?

Unfortunately, you need to see your local dealer to have them disable the V/S40 DRL
