ac prob

can anyone help, ac keeps cutting out, it been regassed, all the wiring checks out ok, the mechanic says theres power going in but not coming out?
the computer read out says something to do with the relay?
he has checked the relay still ok, when it works he puts his foot on the go pedal and the ac cuts out, he changed something to do with the accelerator relay, coz he thought that was the prob, he now thinks its the wiring under the front wing? so he wants to take the wing off!
any ideas, or does anyone know of a good volvo ac specialist in buckinghamshire.
reckon my mechanic has run out of ideas
