That'll be me mate - coming back after a couple of hours at Manchester Airport Viewing Area. The kids love it - big fields to play games and the extra thrill of watching the planes take off and land (for about 10 mins til they get bored).

I was trying to park with Concorde in the background so I could get a pic for here but it was too busy today. Not a bad place for a future meet - there's a field which acts as an overspill car park which can be used as a spot for photo's, toilets, food, drink, etc.

Easy access to the M6, M56, M60 and it only costs £3 for each car and driver plus £1 for each passenger over 4 years old. I'll suggest it to Don as the area organiser.

Good idea Cue, this is a venue I have frequented on numerous occasions with my family, and the airport pub is just as good as its beer garden is adjacent to the runway! very spectacular indeed! They do food,and in the summer months they have a kids entertainer, and bouncy castle etc!
A good day out and venue all in all!
