Hello Volvo heads. A quickie...is putting in place a strut brace a do it yourself effort, or do you have to have it done by someone who knows what they are doing? It looks quite straight forward!

As long as you have a torque wrench and a 17mm? socket then its easy.

yep i'm a complete numpty when it comes to mechanical things and it took me all of 10 minutes :)

Think you need a 13mm for the top mount bolts and a 14/15mm for the strut brace bolts and a torque wrench. The settings are listed in the instructions that come with the kit. Very easy to do

I dont have a torque wrench so I just tightened them to FT (££££££££££ Tight) :sorry:

you dont tighten them as tight as that where abouts are u

Buy some more nuts as well just to be safe.

Just fitted mine a few weeks ago. Really (i mean REALLY) simple job and mine came with brand new nuts as well.
