850 Estates...

OK, my life is changing, jobs, the lot.

And I'm turning 18 next week :D.

But, I'm pretty set on ditching my Range Rover V8 in space of somtehing nutty and swedish, the car I wanted before the Range - an 850 Estate! I always loved the 5cyl engine note, and now that I've got pissed with the RRC, and there's a T5 version...and in Ireland van insurance is very cheap....I don't see why not.

As it goes, are they all turboed engines? I'd love the T-5, and they don't care about the engine here, but what price should I be looking at for, say 94 and on T5s? What are they like to drive etc etc

I'm not sure on the prices in Ireland but over here if you want a low mileage example (sub 100k) with a good body, good spec and mechanically sound then you can expect to pay anything between £2000 to £3000.

There is always the exception to the rule mind you and there are bargains to be had for a lot less than this ;)
