Going To Be Doing Both Mine And My Mates Clutches And Hydralics,Breathers, And Sump Gaskets.
Just Need A Little Info.
Does The Subframe Have To Come Off Or Can You Levers It Down Enough For The Box To Come Out?
Does The Upper Sump Come Away From The Engine Ok? Its Not Part Of The Main Bearing Or Something?

there isn't a sump gasket on an 850 its a dry fit

usually its a subframe out job for the sump and gearbox
subframe can be modifyes to allow the sump to comeout without removal

The subframe does'nt have to come out.Drop the drivers side until it has small amount of threads left on the bolts,and drop the box side right down,make sure you undo the steering rack though :).

I Know,I've Got The Pink Stuff From Volvo,Just Dont Know If The Intermetiate Sump Comes Down Or If It Forms Part Of The Main Bearing Caps?
