Are there any flippin mods u can do( other than rica ) that doesnt upset the me7?? U cant drill holes in airbox, a bov aint recommended, it seems that a 98 t5 is better than 99 to mod/upgrade!
any ideas?

Your pretty stuffed on cheap simple mods with Me7 as the system is all "fly by wire" and will only do what the ECU tells it too, no matter what mechanical changes you make. OBDII is better than Me7 for so called "Tweeks", but if you really want old school tuning it has to be Motronic 4.3 :firedevil

Be cheered by the fact that you have stronger internals and a more responsive engine due to the VVT head.

Send her off to VT and get 19T and a V70 P2 Rica remap. 350bhp+ here we come! Yeeehaa :bullwhip:

No do it . . . my excuse to myself was "needed a new turbo anyway".

Oh, can always get a nice exhaust, then save your money for the new eventual throttle module !

just a thought, you can have an ITG panel filter for 40 odd quid. Defo help with the induction

I have an ME7, and there's plenty you can do!

You CAN'T - do anything that upsets the "metered air" concept - or do anything that alters the boost without bringing the ECU into the equation.

A small price to pay for the having a later engine IMHO.
